Anaheim Hills, CA
Anaheim Hills, California, is a planned community of about 58,000 situated in the eastern part of Anaheim in Orange County. The large community consists of several dozen planned neighborhoods located just minutes from Disneyland.

Prior to World War II, the area consisted primarily of ranches scattered across the semi-arid hills. After the war, the Peralta Hills and Mohler Loop were housing tracts that began the residential development of the area. When rancher Louis Nohl sold a large parcel of land in the foothills just east of Anaheim in the 1970s, development surged. Texaco Industries designed a community that would ultimately include over 7,000 homes, townhomes and luxury estates. The low-density concept included a golf course, hiking trails and large lots. The last significant development in Anaheim Hills commenced in 2007 when the Irvine Company received approval to ultimately construct 2,500 homes just to the east of the 241 toll road.
